Join us for our closing party at the Big House (386 Ponce de Leon Ave) on Friday October 11th, starting at 7pm. The frames will be on display, as well as an assortment of bike-themed art, music, and libations! Plan to bike, Uber, taxi, or park in the neighborhood since there’s no parking at the location.
Sopo Bicycle Cooperative has commissioned the painting of more than a dozen bicycle frames by local artists for its third Art Bike Show. These artists, including familiar names such as Catlanta, Chantelle Rytter and Adam Pinney have been asked to imagine that the bicycle frame is their canvas and create unique, buildable and rideable art. The frames were received as donations and will be on display for silent auction to raise funds for the organization. Several local Atlanta businesses and organizations, such as The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, Joe’s East Atlanta Coffee Shop, 7 Stages Theatre and Twain’s Billiards and Tap will be showcasing this artwork from mid- September to mid-October in support of Sopo.
